Summer Top Dress is a purely inorganic surface amendment — no peat, no organics, no nutrients — formulated to keep the critical stem-to-soil interface open, dry, and draining between waterings. A half-inch layer applied at the base of your container plants does three things: it wicks excess surface moisture away from the root collar, moderates soil temperature at the surface during peak summer heat, and gives you an immediate visual read on soil moisture status before you water.
