This set is five seeds each of five arabicum cultivars selected for one reason — they build completely different caudex forms:

• God Songkla — symmetrical dome crown, out of the Southern Thai breeding networks around Songkhla
• Black Monk — upright habit with dark skin
• D2 × Boar — squat fortress base, pancakes wide and low
• Riza — multi-trunk architectural structure, bred for branching rather than color
• Tyson — heavyweight lateral sprawl, raw mass

Sow all twenty-five in one tray under the same conditions and the differences show up faster than you'd expect. By the end of the first season you'll have a working feel for which structure you actually want to chase — and you'll have five populations to select from instead of one.

I've been germinating arabicum in Zone 6 since 1994, and this is how I'd tell a grower to spend their first serious seed money. Not on one premium name. On five, side by side, where the comparison teaches you something.
