Adenium Arabicum ‘KHZ Black’ × ‘Black Panther’ — Collector Seeds | 10 Seeds
Two of Thailand’s most coveted dark-skinned Arabicum bloodlines. One cross.
KHZ Black is engineered for deep, oily bark pigmentation — bronzed charcoal to near-matte violet-black — with a massive, squat caudex and symmetrical crown branching that reads as natural bonsai straight out of the seedling tray. Black Panther is a stabilized lineage selected specifically for jet-to-charcoal bark expression, tight internodes, and aggressive low-slung structure from the earliest growth stages.
Crossing these two lines stacks the genetic deck toward the traits serious collectors grow for: dramatic dark skin, wide compact caudex, and dense branching architecture. These are not commodity seeds — they’re a working cross from elite parent stock.
What to Expect from the Seedlings
Every seedling is genetically unique. That’s the nature of Arabicum seed. What this cross delivers is a high-yield population with strong expression of dark phenotype traits — purplish-maroon to deep bronze stems visible within the first 2–4 months under high light. Grow them hard, sort early, and keep your darkest, squattest seedlings. The standouts will be obvious.
Germination
Fresh seeds germinate at 90%+. These ship fresh. Germination is fast under the right conditions: bottom heat, bright light, and a fast-draining media. Desert Oasis Germination Media is dialed in for exactly this — the right particle size, the right drainage, zero salt buildup.
