5x5 Germination Tray

After three decades of starting Adenium, Plumeria, and Pachypodium seed from international suppliers, I learned the hard way what happens when multiple named varieties share one flat — you lose track of which seedling is which, and that’s a real problem when you’re working with collector-grade arabicum genetics.

This individual 5”x5” tray solves that. Give each variety its own — its own label, its own batch — no guessing later. Eight of these nest into a standard 1020 flat, so you can run a full set of separated varieties under one humidity dome without anything touching or cross-contaminating.

How I use it:

When I’m running a new shipment of named varieties — say a batch of dark-skin arabicum cultivars — I give each lot of seeds its own tray from the start. It keeps everything organized through the germination process and keeps down confusion with no guessing of which seedlings are in each tray, Oh, did I mention these trays are heavy duty! I use these trays season after season after some sterilization of course, I have trays that are at least 5- 10 years old and still serve their purpose!
