At American Adenium, we take great care in packing and shipping every plant, seed, and product we sell. Please read this policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect when you order from us.
Shipping
Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of purchase, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Delivery Timeframe: Once shipped, most orders arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location and the carrier's schedule. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
Shipping Carriers: We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
Weather & Seasonal Holds: Because we ship live plants and seeds, we monitor weather conditions along shipping routes. During extreme cold or heat events, we may hold shipments for your plants' protection. We will notify you by email if your order is held and provide an updated estimated ship date.
Returns
We want you to be happy with every purchase. We accept returns on all products — including live plants, seeds, potting media, and accessories — within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
Please Do Not Ship Your Return Back Without A Return Authorization Number. We Need To Be Able To Keep Track Of Any Return.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us within 14 days of your delivery date:
- Email: contact@americanadenium.com
- Include your order number and the reason for your return.
- For damaged or DOA (dead on arrival) items, please include clear photos of the item and packaging.
We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions.
Return Shipping
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds & Store Credit
Buyer's Remorse (unused, undamaged items): If you change your mind about a purchase, you may return the item in its original, unused condition within 14 days of delivery. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will issue store credit for the purchase price (excluding original shipping charges). Store credit does not expire.
Damaged or DOA Items: If your plant or product arrives damaged or dead on arrival, we will send you a replacement at no additional cost. Photo documentation is required. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery — claims submitted after this window cannot be honored.
Refund Processing: Store credit is issued within 3–5 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return. Replacement shipments are typically processed within 3–7 business days of your approved claim.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned, except in cases of damage or error on our part:
- Items returned after the 14-day window
- Items that have been used, repotted, or otherwise altered from their original condition
- Gift cards and store credit
